Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, new protocols have been established based on CDC recommendations. Please read all of the COVID-19 protocols before your appointment. Thank you for helping keep all of our patients safe.






The steps for safely performing acupuncture and prescribing Chinese herbal tea during COVID-19:


For the practitioner:

1.The practitioner is fully vaccinated with the Covid-19 vaccine.

2.The practitioner wears protective gear including a mask at all times.


Office:

1. Treatment tables will be covered with table paper and changed for each patient.

2. The treatment table, door knob, light switch and other common area will be wiped clean by disinfectant wipes before and after each patient.


For patients who seek acupuncture treatment:

IF YOU HAVE TESTED POSTIVE FOR COVID-19 OR HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING COVID-19 LIKE SYMPTOMS, PLEASE DO NOT COME TO OUR CLINIC, CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR DIRECTLY!

1. All patients with COVID-19 related symptoms must be free of these symptoms for 7 days. Patients are advised to stay home and contact their primary care doctor or go to ER depending on the severity of the COVID-19 symptoms (see the list below).


2. Patient masks are optional.



3. Patients may cancel the appointment on the day of the treatment if they start to feel any of the COVID-19 symptoms. No cancellation fees will be applied.

4. Patients are advised to wear loose clothing and bring a blanket for their safety and convenience during acupuncture.


5. Use the rest room before coming to the clinic if possible.


For patients who seek herbal treatment:

The list of suspected COVID-19 symptoms:

Cough, shortness of breath, fever or feeling feverish, fatigue, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, diarrhea, muscle aches not caused by specific activity such as exercise.
